Beauty Favorites ♥ November Favorites

November Beauty Favorites
It's the last day of November, which means it's time for my recap of my favorite beauty products I used this month. I didn't really have any lifestyle favorites so I'm skipping my lifestyle favorites this month and just sticking to my beauty favorites. Oh and just a reminder! Blogmas starts tomorrow! I will be posting a new blog post every single day in December and posting 12 DIYs beginning tomorrow!

November Beauty Favorites
Victoria's Secret Love Addict Fragrance Mist
My older sister had a coupon to get a free Victoria Secret fragrance mist and she gave it to me. I didn't know which one to pick so we stood in front of the VS fragrance shelf for like 20 minutes smelling each mist until I finally found one that I loved. I decided to go with the Love Addict scent. It's described as "wild orchid with blood orange". It smells amazing!

Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer with Green Tea Oil
I ran out of my favorite Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer in coconut oil so I went and bought another one, this time the green tea oil. I love this moisturizer even better then the coconut oil because it's not as watery and actually feels more like a lotion. It has a very faint green tea smell but it doesn't really bother me.

November Beauty Favorites
Cake Batter Chapstick
I've been looking for this chapstick everywhere and finally found it at Walmart! What else can I say about it other then it smells like cake batter! Yum!

LOC One + Done Shadow Stick in On Point
This silvery taupe color has been living on my lids for the past month. It's from Birchbox's newest beauty brand, LOC. It doesn't smudge and stays on all day! And since it's in a stick all I have to do is dab on the color put on some eyeliner and mascara and I'm out the door!

CoverGirl Star Wars Colorlicious Lipstick in Lilac
When the CoverGirl X Star Wars collaboration was announced the only thing that I was interested in was the lilac lipstick. You guys know how I am when it comes to lilac! It's more pigmented that I thought it was going to be but not as lilac as I wished it would be and has a silvery metallic finish. What I love about this lipstick is that it's wearable. But I would have loved this lipstick more if it was a creme finish instead of metallic.

November Beauty Favorites
Sally Hansen Maximum Strength Nail Treatment
Since my nails are still fragile from the acrylic nails I got done over a year ago I decided to try a new nail strengthener. I bought this one by Sally Hansen because it looked tinted. It leaves a wash of a neutral pink that makes my nails look clean and polished.

Essie Nail Polish in Virgin Snow
This is the pretty much the only nail color I wore in November. It's from Essie's new winter collection and it's called Virgin Snow. It's a gorgeous muted lilac color, perfect for winter!

Days 326-332 ♥ 365 Challenge

Day 326: My latest obsession has been the Tsum Tsum app game! I've been playing it non-stop!

Day 327: I'm not a fan of fast food because it gives my heartburn and I hate the taste of deep fried grease. Thankfully, Wendy's has baked potatoes, whenever I'm forced to eat out I get my favorite broccoli and cheddar potato!

Day 327: Pre-Thanksgiving baking! I made pumpkin pie! I love pumpkin pie!

Day 328: Lucy dressed up in her sparkly dress for Thanksgiving! She was going around asking for turkey. She's so cute!

Day 329: We went Black Friday shopping, I hated it (never doing it again). When we got home I ordered everything I wanted and even scored a cute Betsey Johnson bag for 35% off with free shipping!

Day 330: Lucy hanging the star on my mini tree. She had some help from my little sister.

Day 331: Now that I decorated my room for Christmas and I'm ready for the holidays! Speaking of Christmas, starting December I will be blogging every single day, aka Blogmas! I've done this every year for the past two years and really enjoy it (but it's so stressful). Along with Blogmas I will also be posting 12 DIY projects as part of 12 Days of DIY. I hope you guys are excited!

How was your Thanksgiving? Did you score any great Black Friday deals?

Sweater Weather Tag

Sweater Weather Tag
I haven't posted a tag in a while so I thought it was about time for another one. I decided to pick the Sweater Weather because I wanted to post this up before Thanksgiving and you guys get bombarded with Christmas and winter themed everything! If you would like participate in this tag just leave your blog link or answers in the comment section. Enjoy!

1. Favorite candle scent?
I've collected many fall candles from Bath and Body Works over the years and my favorite is still the pumpkin cupcake! It smells like a baked pumpkin cupcake with sweet buttercream frosting.

2. Coffee, tea, or hot chocolate?
Coffee all the way! But I do start to drink tea a lot more in Fall.

3. What's the best fall memory you have?
Halloween and Thanksgiving memories flood my mind during fall. I think my favorite is Thanksgiving morning when my mom starts cooking the feast while we watch the Macy's Thanksgiving parade and the National Dog Show and put up the Christmas tree.

4. Which makeup trend do you prefer, dark lips or winged eyeliner?
Winged eyeliner!

5. Best fragrance for fall?
Anything that smells like baked goods or warm vanilla.

6. Favorite Thanksgiving food?
Mashed potatoes and those mini bread rolls!

7. What is autumn weather like where you live?
Windy and cold. Anywhere from low 60 to high 30. This year it's been surprisingly warm though.

8. Most worn sweater?
My pink unicorn sweater that I bought for $15 at HM! I bought it last year while it was on sale and it's my favorite sweater I currently own!

9. Must-have nail polish for fall?
Chinchilly by Essie. It's a grayish taupe with hints of lavender. I am not a huge fan of dark colors. I do own a few dark nail polishes but I rarely reach for them.

10. Football games or jumping in leaf piles?
Piles of leafs because I don't like football.

11. Skinny jeans or leggings?
All I wear is black leggings! I have soooooo many pairs of black leggings (almost 20).

12. Combat boots or Uggs?

13. Is pumpkin spice worth the hype?
When done right, yes! I love the taste of pumpkin! But I agree that the pumpkin spice trend is getting out of hand.

14. Favorite fall tv show?
I'm currently watching Scream Queens and Empire. As far as Korean dramas, I recently started watching Answer Me 1988 and I think it's really cute! But it does hit you with emotions you didn't even know you had. I've cried watching almost every episode so far!

15. What songs really get you into the fall spirit?
I don't have a particular fall song. Anything soothing with good vocals. I like listening to Lim Kim, Nell and Roy Kim around this time of the year.

Tag! You're it!

10 Beauty Tips I Wish I Knew ♥ Beauty Tips

10 Beauty Tips I Wish I Knew
Let's face it, we've all made huge beauty mistakes in the past! I thought it would be fun to share ten makeup and skincare tips I wish I knew when I was younger. Whether your 13 or 30 we can always learn something new about beauty. If you have any beauty tips you would like to add on, please share it in the comments.

1. Wear makeup for yourself, not for anyone else
We all get into makeup at different ages, some younger then others. Just because your friends are all wearing a full face of makeup doesn't mean you have to.

2. Invest in skincare rather then makeup
I always say it's better to spend money on skincare products. Because in the long run skincare products are more beneficial to your skin.

3. Don't use expired makeup
All beauty products have expiration dates, for a reason. Expired makeup can be harsh on your face and could lead to breakouts, color discoloration, red eyes, and more. I learned this the hard way (with out-of-date eye shadows) so please be careful!

4. Make sure your foundation matches
Picking out a foundation can be difficult and intimidating. There is hundreds to choose from, not to mention the different shades! The best way to find a color that matches your skin tone swatch a bit of the product on your wrist or your jawline and see which one matches best. Tools such as color wheels and charts can also be very helpful. When in doubt ask a makeup artist for help.

5. A little goes a long way
We've all heard the saying "A little goes a long way" and that's true. Makeup is build able and you can always add more. Start off slowing and add more as you go.

6. Eyeliner takes practice
We have all seen those amazing eyeliner pictures on Tumblr. But those eyeliner skills take time and practice. Don't expect to become an eyeliner queen overnight.

7. Two shades lighter when it comes to eyebrows
Eyebrows seem to be the "it" thing at the moment. Thick, full, dark, sharp brows. But not too dark, in fact your brows should be two shades lighter then your hair color. That is, if you want a natural look.

8. Keep your makeup, brushes and area clean
Dirty makeup and makeup brushes can lead to widespread bacteria, which can lead to breakouts and pimples. So wash your makeup products and brushes regularly.

9. Use a heat protector
If you apply heat on your hair often, make sure to use a heat protector so that your hair doesn't get fried.

10. Embrace your natural features and have fun!
Makeup is fun to use and play around with. But remember at the end of the day all that will be taken away and washed away. So learn to love yourself and your natural features. Because there is only one you. Only one person contains all those beautiful features, and that is you.

Days 319-325 ♥ 365 Challenge

Day 319: I bought some Tsum Tsum dishes to use as room decor. I just had to get the Marie plate to match with my mug!

Day 320: I added stickers to my Bando agenda. To make it stand out more.

Day 321: Whenever it rains we dry Lucy with her towel so she doesn't get a cold. By the way, that's my younger sister in the picture.

Day 322: Lucy sleeping.

Day 323: Here is a sneak peek at one of my 12 Days of DIY projects!

Day 324: My copy of Kidult Girl by Ayumi Seto came in and look how it arrived! The book was all bent up and damp when I open it. I put it under a bunch of heavy books and magazines so that it could flatten down. I'm so upset this happen! The shipper didn't even put something around the book so that it wouldn't get damage. I waited around a month for this book to arrive and this wasn't what I was expecting. This is my last time ordering from CDJapan!

Day 325: I was able to flatten it but it still damp. I'm still thinking whether or not I should buy a new one. Since I really wanted this book, but I'm waiting to hear back from CDJapan first.

What did you do this weekend?

Kirby And The Rainbow Curse ♥ Game Review

Kirby And The Rainbow Curse Game Review
I haven't reviewed a game in so long! So, I felt it was time to do so again. Today I'm going to be reviewing Kirby and the Rainbow Curse for the Wii U.

Let me start off by saying that I absolutely adore Kirby! I've played so many of his games and he's my favorite Super Smash character to use. His pink and puffy personally make him so lovable! However, this game just didn't cut it for me.

Don't get me wrong the graphics are so adorable and the story has the same quirky story line as every other Kirby game I've ever played. But this game just didn't cut it for me.

First off, it's so difficult to use! Since this game is for the Wii U you actually use the  Wii U console and stylus to draw on lines that serve as a path for Kirby to follow. This may sound easy but honestly it was so hard! There is an instruction manual (which I was constantly checking) but I still couldn't quite grasp this mode so it just ruined the game for me. Why couldn't they just make the game simple like every other Kirby game? I mean isn't this game target audience little kids? So if a 22 year old barely play this game how do you expect a 7 year old suppose to play it?

That's pretty much the only flaw I saw in this game. But it's a huge flaw if you ask me because it makes the game unable to control and play with! I still love Kirby games (Kirby's Epic Yarn is still one of my favorite games to this day) and will continue to play the games he's featured in but this game was just an overall disappointment.

November Happy Mail ♥ Monthly Subscription

November Happy Mail Unboxing
Once again it's time for another Happy Mail unboxing. I don't know about you guys but I'm starting to get tired of Happy Mail. I have so many cards saved up from them in the past and I barely use most of them. So I'm thinking of unsubscribing from them. Don't get me wrong their cards are really cute and original, but lately I've been losing interest in them.

November Happy Mail Unboxing
These are the six cards. This month's theme is very colorful with a pop of indigo. My favorite card this month is the colorful candy card (i think it would look lovely paired with the hot pink envelope).

November Happy Mail Unboxing
Here are the other two cards aka "the abnormal shaped cards". There's a "hot dog" style card with different colored shoes and a "celebrate good times..." card. I wasn't impress with the postcard. I think it looks very plain.

November Happy Mail Unboxing
This month we go a page of washi tape and five recipe cards with some illustrations of peaches.

November Happy Mail Unboxing
This is the monthly print that was featured in this month's Happy Mail. It's a blue print with various paint brush swatches. In sliver foil letters it says "Belong to where you are".

Tony Moly Panda Dream So Cool Eye Stick ♥ Beauty Review

Today I'm reviewing the Tony Moly Panda Dream So Cool Eye Stick. This is one of my favorite under eye product discoveries because it's cooling, cute and affordable! I was reading reviews on this and people either loved it or hated it. While, I don't think it's the best eye product on the Korean market I still think it's amazing!

Product description:
"A portable eye serum in a stick that moisturizes and cools the delicate skin around the eyes as it smoothes the appearance of fine lines."

- Cute Packaging
- Hydrating
- Easy to use
- Cooling
- Refreshing
- De-puffing
- Affordable

- Doesn't last all day
- Doesn't get rid of fine lines

My experience:
The light blue solid gel stick is what I love about this product. It's gives you a nourishing refreshing cooling effect and glides on the skin like butter! The stick leaves behind a clear serum, which I pat in. I keep mine in the refrigerator for a refreshing pick-me-up! I didn't see any changes in fine lines and such, but it does quickly get rid of puffy eye bags and I like to think that the serum does work as an eye serum. I use this stick as a quick under eye treatment as the last step in my skincare routine and on nights when I couldn't sleep.

Would you buy this product again?
Yes! I've bought this multiple times and I'm still loving it!

You can purchase the Tony Moly Panda Dream So Cool Eye Stick here

Beauty Graveyard ♥ Empties 3

Beauty Empties
It's been a while since I've posted an beauty empties post so I thought it was time for a new one! By the way I created a cute name for these empties post, beauty graveyard! Do you guys like it? Because I absolutely in love with the new name! If you are new to these types of post, they're basically just a short reviews on empty beauty products that I've used up. Whether they were good or bad I'm giving you my honest feedback. I'm also linking the full reviews I did on some of these products way back. So, if you are interested you can learn more about them. Anyways, let's get started!

Beauty Empties
EOS Delicate Petals Body Lotion
I have a hard time finding a moisturizing non-greasy lotion. So when I saw bought this, I didn't have much hope. But I actually really liked this lotion! It dissolves well into the skin without leaving a thick or greasy finish. And it moisturizes the skin, making my skin feel soft and smooth! The smell is also lovely, it has a sweet flowery scent.

Simple Cleansing Micellar Water
This product made me fall in love with micellar water! I used a few other micellar waters in the past but this one is probably the best I've used! because it's stronger and actually takes off my makeup really well! I definitely need to get a new bottle of this soon! You can see my full review on this product here.

Beauty Empties
Etude House Pink Powder Spot
I bought this spot powder because many beauty bloggers raved about it, but I'm still on the fence about it. It didn't remove every blemish just a few spots here and there. Plus, it got all over my pillows! I probably wouldn't buy it again, I would rather try something else.

Tony Moly Perfume Bar
I'm the type of person that can't keep perfumes or any fragrances on my skin. For some reason they just fade quickly! That's why I'm smitten over these Tony Moly perfume bars! Not only are they cute but they serve a purpose on keeping you smelling good! They are compact, so you can take them anywhere and whip them out whenever you need a fresh pick-me-up!

Innisfree Jeju Sparkling Mineral Mist
This mist has been one of my favorites that I've tried in a long time! It comes in a nice sleek tube, which fit perfectly in my purse. It's also refreshing and smells great! You can read my full review on this mist here.

Beauty Empties
Do you guys enjoy these empties posts? Should I keep posting them?
