With the long yarn tail, you are going to press the end of the stick to form the bottom red part of the fan stick so don't stuff the red part. First, sew the end close and then with your thumb press this part and sew flat.

After you're finished crocheting it's time for the felt! Cut out two pieces out of the red felt for the buttons. With black felt cut out the lettering on the red part of the stick. Glue everything down and press lightly to secure.

Happy Halloween Tag ♥ Blogtober

Happy Halloween Tag
Halloween is only a few days away! Every year I love posting some sort of Halloween Tag and this year is no different. I found this tag and I loved the strange questions because they were more spooky and less cheesy. Feel free to answer these questions on your own blog and leave a link to your post so that I can read it. Happy Halloween!

1. Favorite horror or Halloween-themed song?
This is Halloween from the Nightmare Before Christmas! I love the Panic At The Disco version!

2. Name something you wouldn't want to run into in a dark forest or in an abandoned building?
A stranger.

3. Have you ever played with an Ouija board? Would you?
HELL NO! I've listened to enough podcasts to know that you never mess with an Ouija board!

4. Favorite horror monster or villain?
Maleficent as a dragon is pretty cool.

5. The creepiest thing that's ever happened while you were alone?
Some strange guy once knocked on our door (I didn't answer) but checked the window after the knocking stopped (like I always do) and he turned back and looked at me, which freaked me out! I called the police and reported him but he never returned.

6. If you were dared to spend the night in a "haunted house", would you do it?
As long as I wasn't alone, yeah.

7. Are you superstitious?
Nope

8. Do you ever see figures in your peripheral vision?
Sometimes I think I do but I'm probably just making myself think that I do. Could just be my anxiety. lol

9. Which urban legend scares you the most?
Not sure if they're an urban legend but BLACK EYED KIDS! So creepy!

10. Do you prefer gore or thrillers?
Thrillers

11. Do you believe in multiple dimensions or worlds?
Yes

12. Ever made a potion of any sort?
No

13. Do you get scared easily?
Realistic things scared me but not when it comes to scary or creepy stories, I love those! haha

14. Have you ever played Bloody Mary?
No

15. Do you believe in demons/the devil?
Yes

16. You're home alone but you hear footsteps in your house, what do you do?
I would check our cameras (we have 8 cameras inside and outside our house) and if I didn't see anything strange then I would ignore it. Our house makes creepy noises all the time so I'm used to it by now.

17. If you got trapped in one scary movie, which would you choose?
It's not really a scary movie but I love Halloween Town or something with witches. Basically, anything where I get to live equaling with the other world.

18. If you could only wear one Halloween costume for the rest of your life, what would you be?
My pink unicorn kigurumi that way I'll be comfy and cute!

19. Would you ever go to a graveyard at night?
Yeah

20. In a zombie apocalypse, what is your weapon of choice?
Nothing because a zombie apocalypse isn't ever possible. Just saying.

21. Would you rather go to a Halloween party or go trick or treating?
Trick or treating! I mean you get to dress up and get free candy! Fun fact: I didn' stop trick or treating until I was in high school.

22. You're in a horror movie. Are you the final girl, the first to die, the comic relief, the skeptic, the smart one, or the killer?
Either the comic relief or the smart one.

23. Do you have the watch something happy after watching a horror movie so you can go to sleep?
Sometimes.

24. Whilst watching scary movies, are you the person who yells at the characters, the person with their eyes covered the whole time or the person who falls asleep?
Unless the characters are doing something extremely stupid then yeah I will criticize their decisions but not yell.

25. Are you the one who gets scared, or the one who does the scaring?
Depends. I'm very paranoid about realistic situations but I like scaring my younger sister.

26. Name your favorite horror-themed book?
I've never read a scary book before so I don't really have one. However, I'm currently making my way through Basic Witches, it's a self-care book for your inner witch and it's really cute!

27. How old were you when you saw your first horror movie?
Like 15-16 when I was in high school.

28. What was your first Halloween costume?
A pumpkin.

29. What are you going to be for Halloween this year?
A ghost because I won't be dressing up this year. haha

30. If you could have a spooky Halloween pet (black cat, owl, bat, rat, wolf), what would you pick?
Probably a wolf because they're closest to a dog.

Happy Halloween Tag

Coffee Chat #39

Coffee Chat
#1 Last weekend I went to the mall with my younger sister and we ran into one of her friends who said I looked 7. SEVEN! What? I'm 25! I would understand 16 for something but 7! Really? I mean I was wearing a fuzzy Barbie sweater but that's beside the point. haha

#2 RM's mixtape is amazing! That's all.

#3 I started watching The Haunting of Hill House last weekend and hoping to finish it this weekend and also starting The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. This is how I'm going to celebrate Halloween.

#4 This week's episode of Is Ths Adulting? with And That's Why We Drink (both were featured in my favorite podcasts) had me dying! If you were wondering what episode you should start with I highly recommend this episode, you get two shows in one!

#5 How cute is that coffee cozy I made? I saw this picture of the Halloween coffee cozies that Tully's Coffee Japan released this month and really wanted one but since I don't live in Japan I decided to make my own! I used the base of my PSL sweater crochet pattern and used a slicker dog brush to create that "teddybear fuzzy" effect.

#6 I'll be picking the winner of the GOT7 giveaway this weekend so make sure you check your emails. Don't worry if you didn't win because a new giveaway will be going up next week!

#7 If you love the content I post on my blog and would love to digitally buy me a cup of coffee I would really appreciate it! Buy me a coffee here.

Autumn/Halloween Planner Spread ♥ Blogtober

Autumn/Halloween Planner Spread
I haven't posted any updated planner spreads in a while so I wanted to show you this week's spread because I actually tried and was pretty satisfied with how it turned out. I decorated this planner spread over the weekend so not all of it is filled out like the to-do lists but a lot of it is.

Autumn/Halloween Planner Spread
I'm currently using the Happy Planner by Me And My Big Ideas. I didn't use much washi tape because I really love the pumpkins at the bottom. Since I don't like dark colors I used pastel colors to decorate this spread. The pens I used to write with are all Pilot Juice pens.

Autumn/Halloween Planner Spread
Most of the stickers I used are from Sprinkled Pug but I also used some stickers from Whimsical Cat Studio, Stationery Heaven Co, and Oh So Fawn. The bookmarks and die cuts are from Hello Paper Cat. The cloud page marker is from Love Neen. I used this kawaii pumpkin spice washi on to decorate the note section on the left side.

The top section is where I write my 'to do' lists. I prefer to fill these in the night before or on the morning of the actual day. The middle section is where I write down the blog post I'm going to publish that day. Since I don't publish any blog posts on the weekend I just stuck post-it notes there to be a little festive. The bottom boxes are where I write my workouts for that day. I do the same workout routine 5 times a week (I do a different routine every week) and like to draw a bubble so I can physically fill in the bubble because that motivates me to work out that day.

Autumn/Halloween Planner Spread
I won't go into too much detail because when it comes to planner spreads I think they do much of their own work.

Do you like to decorate your planner special for the holidays?

Skincare Extras ♥ Blogtober

Skincare Extras
We're only a week away from Halloween! Can you believe it? If you don't have any plans for Halloween then why not indulge and treat your skin with some extra skincare treats! Here are some additional skincare steps that you can add to your routine when you want to be a little extra.

Skincare Extras
Micellar Cleansing Water
Micellar water is a mix between a makeup remover and toner. If you don't want to have both in your skincare stash then why not just use a micellar water for both. I'm currently using the Etude House Monster Micellar Cleansing Water which is perfect for Halloween. It's gentle and unscented so it's suited for those with sensitive skin. I soak a cotton pad with micellar water and use as a toner in the morning and night and also to remove my makeup when I wear minimal makeup.

Skincare Extras
Facial Scrub
Using a facial scrub regularly softens your skin, reduces blackheads, removes dead skin and dirt, leaving your skin with a smooth canvas. It's important to not over exfoliate though because it can damage your skin which is why I recommend only exfoliating once per week. I'm really loving the Tony Moly Mushroom Sugar Scrub at the moment because the strawberry seeds dissolve and the scent is sweet like fruity candy!

Sleeping Pack
It's starting to get colder so that means your skin needs a thicker cream but why not use a sleeping pack to transition your skin to a heavier cream? Sleeping packs are lightweight non-sticky masks that are designed to be worn as you sleep. You wash off with water the following morning and left with soft silky skin! One of my favorite sleeping packs is the Too Cool For School Pumpkin Sleeping Pack, I highly recommend it, I'm on my third tube!

Pro tip: To get that dewy glass skin look use a sleeping pack.

Skincare Extras
Sheet Masks
The benefit of sheet masks are amazing, I mean have you read my latest post on sheet masks? Sheet masks give you dewy radiant skin and if you use them often you can even reduce the number of pimples you get. Plus, using a mask sheet is probably the best way to scare someone which is perfect for Halloween! haha

How do you treat your skin?

My Top 5 Favorite Podcasts ♥ Blogtober

My Top 5 Favorite Podcasts
Today I'm sharing 5 of my favorite shows that I listen to on a regular basis. I started listening to podcasts at work because you can only listen to oh so much music before it becomes boring/annoying. Don't get me wrong I love music! However, sometimes I want something with a little more substance with a bit of humor sprinkled in.

Everyone has their own genre of podcasts that they enjoy listening, mine is true crime, paranormal, conspiracy, and comedy. When it comes to true crime and paranormal podcats I don't like series with creepy music and sound effects because I think those are cheesy. I prefer the type of podcasts where you are a fly on the wall on a conversion. If you have any recommendations let me know.

My Favorite Murder
The podcast that got me into podcasts! It's a true crime/comedy podcast where your host, Karen, and Georgia tell stories of murders. I binge the whole podcast around this time last year and look forward to their two episodes every week. I think this podcast is the podcast that made true crime popular but it's the first one that I listened to. If you're into true crime and haven't listened to this then you must!

And That's Why We Drink
A paranormal and true crime comedy podcast. Em and Christine tell stories about ghosts and murderers. I love these girls and look forward to their episodes every week! I like the format of this show because they start with the creepy stories first and then end with true crime, true crime doesn't scare me so I like this arrangement of this show (especially when the paranormal stories are on aliens or dolls). This duo is also super funny which lightens the mood when the topics get too serious.

Two Girls One Ghost
Two girls one ghost! I recently discovered this podcast a few months because I wanted to hear more paranormal stories because that's my favorite part in And That's Why We Drink so I tried to look for one and eventually found Two Girls One Ghost. Your two ghostesses, Corinne and Sabrina tell you stories about ghosts and other paranormal phenoms. Be warned some of these stories are hella creepy and I wouldn't recommend listening to this podcast alone at night because you will get creeped out.

Is This Adulting?
"The mental health comedy podcast you never knew you needed." I discovered this podcast after the girls from And That's Why We Drink were guests on two of the episodes. This is a mental health comedy podcast (which I didn't even know was a thing!) so they do mental health checks, play games, and talk about serious and not-so-serious topics with a mystery guest and your two hosts, Steve and Chris. I like to listen to this podcast when I'm feeling lonely and need some company, I like to think of this as a low-key kind of therapy.

Bhooked Podcast
Yup, you bet your girl listens to a podcast about crochet! I found out about the Bhooked podcast when a crochet designer who I follow mentioned the show. This year I've been crocheting a lot some I find this podcast every useful because they cover all types of crochet topics such as tips for running your small business, craft markets, knitting, amigurumi, connecting with other designers, pattern writing, and many other topics. I've learned so much from this podcast and it's the reason why I started posting on my crochet Instagram account. If you are a crocheter who wants to learn more about running your own business I highly recommend this podcast.

Coffee Chat #38

Coffee Chat
#1 We're a little bit more than halfway through Blogtober. How are you guys liking the posts? Let me take a moment to toot my own horn and say that I'm very proud of the content I've been posting this month. I've also started coming up with ideas for Blogmas. Is anybody else participating in Blogmas this year?

#2 Why I'm Pledging Self-Love

#3 The amount of physical pain I've been getting due to my anxiety is getting worse. I've mentioned before that I get heart palpations and really painful stomach aches especially when I'm feeling extra anxious. I went to a doctor a couple months ago but they didn't really help because they said that I have nothing serious and that it's due to stress. So, if anybody else struggles with this and has any advice I would really appreciate it.

#4 Listed some new items in my Depop shop. I might list some more stuff this weekend like books and accessories.

#5 Your Feelings Are Valid – It’s Okay

#6 My mom left for Mexico yesterday. She's going to be spending the next two weeks there which means she'll be there for the Dia De Los Muertos celebrations! I'm totally jealous! We've never celebrated Dia De Los Muertos at home but it's something that I would love to experience.

#7 Just a few days left to enter my GOT7 fan stick giveaway! Enter here! Who's fan stick should I make next?

South Korea Care Package ♥ Blogtober

South Korea Care Package
My friend recently went to South Korea and asked if I wanted anything because she knows it's my dream to visit South Korea. I only asked her for a few things but she ended up sending me a box packed with tons of stuff! I asked her if I could share what she got me and said yes, so here is what was in my care package.

South Korea Care Package
I always ask for sheet masks because South Korea is known for their sheet masks. Jenny got me a foam cleanser by TonyMoly from their collaboration with Pokemon. I just finished my Cosrx cleanser so this came just in time!

South Korea Care Package
In the package was lots of Korean candy which I wasn't expecting! Fruity candy, cola candy, choco pie, and Takoyaki flavored chips. I can't wait to try these!

South Korea Care Package
She also got me the cutest letter sets! I can't wait to send these to my pen pals, the one with animals is my favorite! She also got me a Starbucks postcard which I loved because I love Starbucks!

Jenny follows my blog so she knows that I've been talking nonstop about BT21. She used a Mang transportation card while she was in Korea and gave it to me because she knows I'm a huge BT21 fan. Next to the Mang card is a magnet of Korea and a Korean postcard, both of these are definitely going up on my dream board!

South Korea Care Package
Another thing that I asked Jenny to get me was a Nylon magazine to help with my Korean reading, every time she goes to South Korea she gets me an issue. Nylon is my favorite magazine and they always seem to have some of my favorite idols or actors featured on the magazine, this time it was The Boyz who I'm not really familiar with but I will keep my eyes on them.

South Korea Care Package
Have you been to South Korea before?

BT21 Vampire Shooky Plush ♥ Crochet Pattern

BT21 Vampire Shooky Crochet Pattern
Line released a special collection for BT21 to celebrate Halloween. They dressed the BT21 characters is costumes, basic costumes such as mummies, zombies, vampires, etc. If I knew I would've crocheted more of the characters but I found out late so I ran a poll on Twitter and asked you guys which character should I make and Shooky won!

Shooky is dressed up as a vampire so I just changed his original colors and crocheted him a set of wings and horns. I used Vanna's Choice Soft yarn instead of Red Heart Super Saver (my go-to worsted yarn) because when I used SS the wings came out too big so I recommend using a thinner yarn to fit Shooky perfectly.

BT21 Vampire Shooky Crochet Pattern
Supplies:
- Orange worsted yarn
- Red worsted yarn
- Black yarn
- H/5.00 mm crochet hook
- G/4.25 mm crochet hook
- Polyfil stuffing
- Black felt
- White felt
- No-sew Glue
- Scissors
- Darning needle
- Sewing pins (optional)

Aberrations:
Ch(s) - chain(es)
St(s) - stitch(es)
Slst - slip stitch
Sc - single crochet
Dec - decrease
Flo - fron loop only
Blo - back loop only
(x__) - repeat __ amount of times

BT21 Vampire Shooky Crochet Pattern
Follow the Shooky pattern for Shooky's cookie body but use the orange yarn for the body and red yarn for his arms and legs. Stuff with polyfill and sew his arms and legs.

BT21 Vampire Shooky Crochet Pattern
Wings (make 2)
Use G hook and black yarn
- Ch 13 sts, flo sc 12 sts. Total = 12 sts
- Sc 12 sts. (x2) Total = 12 sts
- Sc 4 sts. Total = 4 sts
- Ch 1, turn dec 2 sts. Total = 2 sts
- Sc 2 sts. Total = 2 sts
- Dec 2 sts. Total = 1 sts
Cut off
Next to the piece you just made, skip one st and insert your hook on the second slst.
- Sc 4 sts. Total = 4 sts
- Ch 1, turn dec 2 sts. Total = 2 sts
- Dec 2 sts. Total = 1 sts
Cut off
Go back to where you started and find the line of flo sts. Insert your hook on the side (where you started your ch).
- Sc 5 sts. Total = 5 sts
- Ch 1, turn, dec, sc 1 st, dec. Total = 3 sts
- Dec 2 sts. Total = 1 sts
Cut off

Insert your hook on the corner of the left side of the wing and slst all around until you read the bottom of the bottom of the left side where you start (don't crochet the sts between). Cut off an weave in all of the loose ends

Horns (make 2)
Use G hook and black yarn
- Ch 5 sts, sc 4 sts. Total = 4 sts
- Ch 1, turn dec 2 sts. Total = 2 sts
- Ch 1, turn, dec. Total = 1 sts
Cut off, leave long tail for sewing

BT21 Vampire Shooky Crochet Pattern
Assembly
With black felt, cut out Shooky's eyes, brows, and mouth. Cut out a tooth using the white felt. Glue everything down and press to secure.

BT21 Vampire Shooky Crochet Pattern
If you guys want to make the rest of the Halloween BT21 characters here are some changes you can try to do using my BT21 patterns. If you try any of these changes let me know.

Koya - Vampire
Koya is also a vampire so if you guys can also make this set for him and just changed this ears and nose to orange.

Cooky - Skeleton
If you want to make skeleton Cooky, crochet his body (don't color change) and ear but just black yarn instead of pink. Then follow Chimmy's face pattern but use black and orange instead. Cut out bone shapes with white felt.

RJ - Grim Reaper
RJ is a Grim Reaper so all he wears is a black cloak. I think the best way to make the cloak is to make it using black felt. I'm not someone who crochets clothes so that's the best advice I can give you. haha

Chimmy - Mummy
Chimmy dressed up like a mummy. To get Chimmy's mummy effect you can crochet using back loop only and warm white yarn. I'm not sure how I would make those diagonal mummy spots, probably crochet separate pieces. Use orange yarn instead of yellow yarn for his head. Color change 1/3 of the body and one arm to orange yarn and use white yarn the rest of the 2/3.

Tata - Dracula
Tata's changes are pretty easy to do. Just change the blue and red yarn to purple and orange yarn and follow my Tata pattern. Make his cape with black felt or try crocheting one! Use white felt for his mouth instead of yellow.

Mang - Zombie
Mang requires the most changes. If you're good with yarn color change then you can probably make him. Use orange, purple, and white yarn. Use orange yarn for one of his legs and use purple for the other. Use purple for 1/3 of his body to make the bottoms then color change to white to make this shirt. For the arms, start off with orange (purple for the other arm) then color change to white yarn, try using a different stitch (either dc or hdc) for the ripped effect. Use orange yarn for Mang's head and purple for this mouth and mane. Crochet a bone with white yarn and sew next to his ear.

What I've Been Crocheting ♥ Blogtober

What I've Been Crocheting
Here are some of the recent crochet projects that I've made in September and October. I published a what I've been crocheting post not to long ago and wanted to post another just to share what I made these couple of weeks because I've been crocheting a lot of personal projects so I thought I would share with you guys. Follow my second Instagram account if you would like to see more crochet-related posts.

D.VA Pumpkin Cone
In my last post, I included a picture of the cotton candy cone I made that was inspired by Sharon. Well, she saw a picture of it and message me saying how much she loved it so I offered to make her one. She decided on the pumpkin D.VA design that she made for her Halloween Overwatch Kickstarter. This cane out slightly bigger but it’s just as cute and it has a pumpkin hanging on its side!

What I've Been Crocheting
Granny Square Bag
I was never a fan of granny squares when I first started crochet because they looked complicated and boring (at least the ones I saw). However, it was a granny square bag with fringe that caught my attention on Instagram, so I crocheted my own bag! My only regret is not making it bigger. I thought that it would get bigger once I sewed everything together and add the border but it didn't grow that much. It's really sturdy and I love the colors I picked and I've already started on my second bag!

For those wondering, I got the pattern here. I made my own strap because I didn't like the size of the straps in the pattern. I'm really tempted to just make another bag but use a different size hook.

What I've Been Crocheting
BTS plush and card
This is what the winner of my BTS Army Bomb stick giveaway won. She requested a blue fan stick so I wanted to show you guys how the globe looks in a different color. I also really loved how the card I made her came out so I had to include a photo of it too! I love crocheting cards because it's easy and I can customize them however I want. If you ever place an order in my shop I always included a special crochet card with every order. You can make your own BTS Army Bomb plush here.

What I've Been Crocheting
Pachimari plushies
This is a sneak peek at my next crochet pattern. If you play Overwatch then you're familiar with the popular onion plush that is Pachimari. I was going to post this pattern this month but I already have two patterns going up later this month (one going up later this week!) so this pattern will most likely go up next month or I might just wait for Blogmas.

What I've Been Crocheting
Pokemon Cyndaquil
I made this for my friend Jenny. She sent me a care package from her trip to South Korea so I wanted to thank her by making her favorite Pokemon which is Cyndaquil. I based the design a picture she sent me of a Cyndaquil without a flame. I'm very pleased with how it came out.

What I've Been Crocheting
Pumpkin Garland
Sophie displayed a pumpkin bunting in one of her recent posts which inspired me to make one of my own. I used this pattern. This pumpkin garland was featured in my mood/dream board.

What I've Been Crocheting
Granny Squares
Here are more granny squares I crocheted. The orange one is supposed to be autumn-inspired, it was also featured in my dream board. The black one is the start of my second granny square bag. I used an I hook this time to make the bag bigger.

What have you been making lately?
