September 2018 Favorites ♥ Beauty + Lifestyle

September Monthly Favorites
It's that time for another roundup of monthly favorites. This is where I share my favorite beauty and lifestyle products from the month of September.

September Monthly Favorites
Etude House Monster Micellar Cleansing Water
I have yet to find a makeup remover that I like. I've tried remover wipes, cleaning oils, balms, etc. Micellar waters are one of my favorite ways to remove makeup becuase they don't leave a weird residue so makeup removal is very simple. The Etude House Monster micellar water caught my attention because of the cute packaging. I've been using it for a few weeks and so far so good. They recently released a version with oil which I'm very interested in trying after I finish this bottle.
LUSH Solid Shampoo - Brazilliant
A few years ago I bought this shampoo bar by LUSH called Brazilliant. I recently discovered it in a LUSH tin that was hidden at the bottom of my skincare basket. I use it once a week when my hair gets really oily and it still works wonderfully!

Skinfood Peach Jelly Soothing Gel 90
I've been using gels instead of lotion to moisturize my body because gels dry faster and the smell lingers on for longer, plus I'm really impatient about moisturizing my body. Skinfood has an aloe gel which is really popular but I saw that they had a peach so I decided to get this one. My body drink this stuff up! I just finished the tub and my body skin feels very smoother then it was before.

Method Body Wash - Simply Nourish
Finding an affordable body wash that doesn't test on animals is very tricky! I've bought several body washes and soaps but my body is somewhat sensitive so I need to find a product that not only moisturizes but also smells nice. Method's body wash is just that! The lather is nice, moisturizes my skin and the scent of coconut, rice milk and shea butter complaint each other nicely. Most importantly it's cruelty-free!

Soap + Glory Heal Genius
In September, I tried several foot products because I want baby soft feet. The first foot product I want to explain is this Heal Genius by Soap + Glory. I've been using this after I shower and at night and my feet have slowly become softer!

Spongeables Pedi-Scrub Foot Buffer - Citron Eucalyptus
Spongeable is a line of sponges that are infused with a shower gel that when activated by water lather creating a soothing exfoliate. There are various types of sponges for different needs but I went with the pedi scrub. There are two different sizes, one that lasts up to 20 washes and a smaller one that lasts for only 5 washes, which is the one I choose. I love this product! It has two sides, I start with the rough side to buff away imperfections and then switch to the smooth side which is when the lather begins making my feet super soft and clean! I can see myself purchasing more of these sponges in the future!

P.S. The sponge is stained orange because some of the dye from the LUSH shampoo bar got on the foot scrub. Just wanted to address that because I didn't want you guys to think my feet are gross. lol

Bunun and Loot Progress Keeper
Bunny and Loot is a shop that sells yarn and polymer clay charms. I've followed the shop on Instagram and was obsessed with their summer charm collection but never bought anything because I thought their products were kind of expensive (I just found out the prices are in Canadian dollars) but when I saw they were on sale I had to purchase something so I choose the narwhal popsicle charm. The charm is very well made! I also received a free purple star charm for free which was super sweet of them to include.

Flower Petal Washi Tape Roll
I found these floral washi sticky on Alipxress. Rainbowholic uses them often in her 'journal with me' videos so I thought I would try them. They are basically pieces of washi tape that you peel off one by one. I bought a few rolls but the sakura petal and flowers are my favorite.

  1. I'll have to try that Etude House cleansing water, it's one of the few things I haven't tried out yet even though I keep looking at it and my other make-up remover is almost gone so I might pick this one up next time xoxo
