Christmas Haul + Black Friday Haul

Today I have an exciting post for you all and it's my Christmas haul! I wasn't going to post this at first because I think Christmas hauls are kind of like bragging (but what hauls aren't) but I asked on twitter and some of you wanted to see what I got, so here it is! Enjoy!

My older sister gave me a Eevee shirt, a Pinkie Pie mug, and a Lady Rainicorn necklace. She also knitted me a hat and a fox scarf.

My younger sister gave me a Big Sexy Hair root pump hairspray, Loreal butterfly mascara, a EOS lip balm, and a Molang plush (which I also gave to her).

My dad bought me a Clarisonic Mia 2! I've been using this for a few days and I'm already noticing results!

My mom gave me a pair of black studded boots, a AMOR bracelet, some bunny slippers, and a perfume by Fergie.

I bought myself some goodies earlier this month during Black Friday and Cyber Monday so I thought I would also include those items. I got two pairs of moccasins from American Eagle for under $40! I also scored a great deal on a Sanrio character scarf from Yummy You

I bought myself some comfy pink polka dot pajama pants from Forever 21, a Molang pencil, and I also got The Great Gatsby on DVD (because I love that movie).

What did you guys get for Christmas?

What I Did On Christmas

Hello! I took the past few days off of blogging because the 12 days of DIY series took a lot out of me but I am back to my regular blogging schedule! I took a few photos of what I did on Christmas so I thought I would share them with you guys. Enjoy!

Me and my younger sister decorated sugar cookies on Christmas Eve for our family Christmas party. My favorite were the Santa and reindeer ones, the little kids like them too!

On Christmas we open our presents in the morning and I got a Clarisonic Mia 2!!! I've been asking for a Clarisonic for like 2 years and I finally got one! I'm so excited! I will post a full "what I got for Christmas" blog post tomorrow.

I got my sisters these Japanese popin' cookin' things. I've always wanted to make these so I was pretty excited too!

My older sister made us ice cream cones! They actually tasted really yummy and looked so cute!

I got my younger sister the fast food one. This one was really strange in a cool way, the powders smelled just like the food! But we were too scared to eat the burgers so we threw them away. It was way more fun to make the food then to actually eat them! Hahaha

Later, we played Adventure Time Monopoly, which I totally won by the way! DON'T MESS WITH ME IN MONOPOLY I'LL CRUSH YOU!

What did you do on Christmas?

12 Days Of DIY: Flower Headband

It is finally the last day of 12 days of DIY! I'm kind of sad but relieved at the same time (these posts were very stressful for me)! I saved one of the easiest DIY's for last (for all you late Christmas shoppers), all you need for this project is some fake flowers, a headband, and a hot glue gun. You can make some of these for you flower loving friends and put them in their stockings this Christmas!

I hope you guys enjoyed all of the 12 DIY's I put together for you. I posted all of the 12 projects down below in case you missed one!
Day 1: Pom Pom Wreath
Day 2: Crochet Christmas Banner
Day 3: Crochet Stocking
Day 4: Snowman Ornament
Day 5: Embroidered Christmas Cards
Day 6: Knitted Panda Brooch
Day 7: Chocolate Covered Ritz
Day 8: Custom Beanies
Day 9: Chocolate Puppy Chow
Day 10: Pocky Bar
Day 11: A "Lump" Of Coal (crochet pattern)
Day 12: Flower Headband

What you need:
- A headband (one that matches your hair color is best)
- Fake flowers (you can find these at most craft stores)
- Glue gun and glue sticks
- Scissors
- Yellow felt (optional)

How to:
Take out all of the backing of the flowers until it can lay flat. Arrange the flowers on the headband to see how much space you need in between each flower. Once your happy with you design carefully hot glue the flower onto your headband, repeat until you have the desired amount of flowers on you headband (I put 5 flowers on mine). Cut out some small yellow felt circles and glue them in the middle of your flowers, I did this to my flowers because they all had a very visible circle in the middle so the felt covers it up. That's it now go out and rock your floral piece!

Did you enjoy the 12 days of DIY? Which was your favorite DIY project?

Happy holidays!

12 Days Of DIY: A "Lump" Of Coal (Crochet Pattern)

Today's DIY project is one of my personal favorites I've made thus far! I came up with this idea a few weeks ago and couldn't wait to show you guys until now. I think the whole lump of coal thing needed a makeover so I thought that I would keep the lump idea and make a cute Lumpy Space Princess coal plush, since LSP is already in the shape of coal. I think this is a cute stocking stuffer to put in someone's stocking who is a fan of Adventure Time! Enjoy!

What you need:
- Size G (4.25 mm) crochet hook
- Purple worsted weight yarn
- Black, yellow, and white felt
- Scissors
- Stuffing
- Glue

Lumpy Space Princess pattern:
- Ch 6, sl st to 1st st to form loop = 6 sts
- Sc 2 sts in each st, sl st to 1st st = 12 sts
- Sc 12 sts (x2) = 12 sts
- Sc 3 sts, sc 2 into each of the next 3 sts (x2) = 18 sts
- Sc 5 sts, sc 2 into of the next 4 sts (x2) = 26 sts
- Sc 26 sts (x4) = 26 sts
- Sc 8 sts, sc 2 into each of the next 5 sts (x2) = 36 sts
- Sc 36 sts (x2) = 36 sts
- Dec 2 sts, sc 2 sts (x5) = 26 sts
- Sc 26 sts (x2) = 26 sts
*start stuffing body*
- Dec 2 sts, sc 2 sts, [dec 2, sc 1 (x2)], dec 2 sts, sc 2 sts = 18 sts
- Sc 18 sts = 18 sts
- Dec 2 sts, sc 1 (x3) = 12 sts
- Sc 12 sts (x2) = 12 sts
- Dec 2 sts, sc 1 (x2) = 8 sts
- Dec 2 sts (x4) = 4 sts
Cut off, sew close, and weave in ends

With the yellow felt cut out a star shape and glue it on LSP's forehead. With black and white felt cut out LSP's eyes and mouth (you can choose whatever facial expressions you want her to have) and glue it on her face.

Done! Now you can stuff her in someone's stocking and place a cute note like "I thought you deserved this lump of coal" or something cute like that.

If you decided to try out this pattern let me know how it comes out! Also, tomorrow is the last post of the 12 days of DIY then after that is Christmas Eve and the Christmas, I'm so excited!

Happy holidays!

12 Days Of DIY: Pocky Bars

I have yet another edible creation for you guys to make today and this is an idea that came to me a few months ago so I'm really happy to finally get to share this gift idea with you guys! It's a Pocky (also called Peppero) bar! For those who don't know what Pocky is they're chocolate covered biscuit sticks that are sold in Asia but they've become very popular here in the states (they even sell them at Walmart). Anyways, I decided to make Pocky bars because in South Korea they have this holiday called Peppero Day (it's on 11/11) where they give Pocky to anyone who you care about (it's pretty much like Valentine's Day but you only give out Pocky), You can either buy Pocky in boxes or you can get crafty and make your own Pocky, which is what I'm going to show you guys how to make today!

 You will need:
- Pretzel sticks
- White and/or milk chocolate chips
- Food coloring (optional)
- Sprinkles
- Wax paper

How to:
Melt the chocolate and gather a few pretzel sticks and dunk them into the chocolate, this is one method you can use to create the Pocky chocolate bar. The second method is to cover one pretzel stick with chocolate and repeat then stick the pretzels together and place them on some wax paper. Either way works but I prefer the second method. The last part is my favorite...DECORATING! You can sprinkle on colorful sprinkles onto your Pocky bars, write cute Christmas sayings, or whatever you want GET CREATIVE! Then leave the chocolate bars to dry overnight.

You can also just make individual Pocky sticks and place them all in a cute container and hide them in someone's Christmas stockings.

Happy holidays!

12 Days Of DIY: Chocolate Puppy Chow

We only have 5 days left unti lChristmas! Are you ready? Well if your aren't yet don't worry I still have 2 more DIY posts left until Christmas (one will be up tomorrow and Monday). Today's DIY post is for the chocolate lovers! In this post I show you guys how to make chocolate puppy chow that is incredibly delicious and chocolaty! Enjoy!

You will need:
-  2 cups Chex rice cereal
- 1/3 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1/4 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar

How to:
In a saucepan melt the butter, peanut butter, and mini chocolate chips until mixed. Then in a big bowl pour 2 cups of Chex rice cereal and pour the chocolate sauce over the cereal. Incorporate the chocolate with the cereal with a wooden spoon until the Chex cereal is coated with the chocolate. In a huge ziplock bag add the cereal and the powdered sugar and make sure the ziplock is shut tight and shake the bag until the cereal is covered with powdered sugar. Once done place the puppy chow in a bowl and sprinkle some mini chocolate chips and marshmallows (if you have some pretzel m&m's I think that would the cherry on top). I also drizzled some leftover chocolate sauce over the puppy chow to make it look cute. This serves 2-3 people.

I poured some puppy chow in a cute Christmas box I got at Target and lined it with some wax paper. This is a really cute gift idea to give out!

Happy holidays!

12 Days Of DIY: Custom Beanies

So I'm finally back with another 12 days of DIY! Sorry that I've been falling behind with my Christmas DIY posts but I promise that all the posts will be up before Christmas. Anyways, today I have a cute customize beanie idea that you can make for a friend for Christmas. Enjoy!

You will need:
- A plain beanie (I got mine from Forever 21 for $3)
- Felt
- Scissors
- Fabric glue

First think of a design you want your beanie to have. I decided to cut out pink letters that say CUTE and some hearts. I then used fabric glue to attach the felt on to the beanie. Let the beanie dry over night and then you can wear it out the next day!

To take it to the next level I decided to make this beanie double sided! So I cut out a cute face with some leftover felt and glue it onto the other side of the beanie. So you can have both of the designs on each side of the beanie.

When I was making my beanie my younger sister walked in and loved my beanie so much that she wanted me to do something to one of her beanies so I cut out the letters BAD and glued them on to her beanie.

Happy holidays!

12 Days Of DIY: Chocolate Covered Ritz

Today's DIY is very sweet, literally! I will be showing you guys how to make chocolate covered Ritz cookies. This is a quick and very fun DIY that you can make for your friends and family or even for a Christmas party! Enjoy!

You will need:
- A box of Ritz crackers
- Chocolate chips (you can use which ever kind you want, I used white chocolate chips)
- Sprinkles
- Wax paper
- Bowl
- Spoon

Melt your chocolate by following the instructions on the packaging of your chocolate chips. Grab two Ritz crackers and with the backs facing each other dip them into chocolate make sure to coat both sides with chocolate and then place on wax paper. Decorate the cookies with sprinkles or anything else you would like. Let the cookies air dry for about 30 minutes and then enjoy!

These are so fun and easy to make! You can make a ton of these too and you can even add something inside the cookies like peanut butter or Nutella if your would like.

A cute gift idea would be to make some of these cookies and place then in a cute Christmas tin, like this one I got at Target for a $1. Make sure to place some tissue or wax paper inside the tin so it doesn't get sticky with chocolate.

If you try this or any other of my DIY's please tag me on Instagram @mooeyandfriends so I can see your creations!

Happy holidays!
