BT21 Tata Plush ♥ Crochet Pattern

BT21 Tata Plush Crochet Pattern
It's time for another BT21 plush crochet pattern! This month I'm making Tata because he's created by my personal favorite BTS member, V. I originally wanted to post this pattern before Valentine's Day because Tata is heart shaped but I had planned to post the Twice Valentine's Cards first and didn't want to have two patterns up around the same time but better late than never, right?

"From BT Planet, Tata is very curious about everything." Tata is also a shapeshifter and can transform into anything he desires which is why you may sometimes find him in different shapes. I love that Tata came out like how V imagined him and how his drawing came was close to his initial sketch.

I crocheted Tata using the same body pattern as I did with Chimmy but left a row of two out to make his body a bit smaller. Tata's heart-shaped head is his focal point and what I concentrated on the most. I could've made to separate heart shapes and sewing them together but I really wanted to challenge myself and make one piece and I think it came out really well.

BT21 Tata Plush Crochet Pattern
Time to sew everything together! Sew the arms to the body. Then sew the head to the body.

Cut out Tata's face and dots with the yellow and black felt. I cut out a total of 13 dots. There are a couple different versions of Tata with his dots so I just picked one photo and followed the placement of Tata's dots. Glue and press down lightly to secure.

BT21 Tata Plush Crochet Pattern
Now Tata can join his friends Van and Chimmy! Check out those patterns if you haven't already. Want to know who I will be crocheting next? Well Easter is coming soon!*wink*

Who is your favorite BT21 character?

What Makes Me Happy ♥ February 2018

What Makes Me Happy
In my latest Coffee Chat, I briefly talked about not feeling the most positive at the moment, hence why I haven't blogged that much. I won't go into detail about what's going on with me because I'm a very private person when it comes to these types of things but maybe one day I will openly talk about this. In order to make me feel better, I wanted to write a post on some things that comfort me during rough times and make me feel a little bit better. Everyone has different things that make them smile through the pain so I'm just sharing my personal favorites. Different things make people happy so let me know what things make you feel better during depressing moments.

If you have a pet then I don't need to tell you how much happiness they can bring to your life. My favorite thing that Lucy does is when she randomly comes up to me and just wants to be petted.

Coffee is a huge part of my life! I drink multiple cups a day and feel weird when I don't have a cup. There is something about knowing that coffee is coming that instantly makes me feel better. Any other coffee lovers relate?

It's amazing how much music can impact you. There are just some songs that can turn your day around and comfort you in times of need. I like to make playlists for every occasion and that includes my moods! haha

Working Out
It's been proven that working out can shift your mood. It's all the endorphins that make you feel like you can take on the world! I definitely feel happier after a 30-minute workout session.

I've been playing video games my whole life (check out this post to learn about my gaming past) so there is that comfort element. I know a lot of people will debate that gaming too much may be even worse for your health but a few hours of gaming personally makes me feel better. Concentrating on something other than my life calms me down and puts me at ease.

Like with gaming, too much sleep is bad for you but again it makes me feel better. Just escaping for a couple of hours really helps when me when I'm feeling upset or stressed.

You guys know that I'm a huge fan of stationery but actually using them in my planner is my favorite part! Planning is very therapeutic for me. Sitting down for a couple hours to organize my day or week prepares me for whats to come so I don't feel overwhelmed.

Painting My Nails
I am somebody who can't go around with dingy chipped nails, as soon as I see a chip I need to remove and repaint asap! Something about a fresh new coat of glossy nail polish that makes me feel put together even when I'm not. haha

My Room
My room is one of my favorites spaces where I feel happy in because it's surrounded by cute things that inspire me. It's where I sleep, create, workout, relax, etc. I think everybody needs an area which they can truly be themselves in and for me, that is my room.

Coffee Chat #7

Coffee Chat
#1 Sorry for the lack of posts this week month. I don't have any excuse I just haven't felt motivated to blog or do anything, to be honest (I was supposed to post this yesterday but decided against it because I had a bad day yesterday and didn't want the stress). I'm struggling and I know. Sometimes I just want to throw everything away and give up. All I want to do is sleep and never wake up. Hopefully, this dark cloud will pass soon. Wish me luck.

#2 It was Lucy's 4th birthday on Tuesday. Lucy had some dog-safe cake, went on a walkies, and we bought her some treats and gifts. I even made her a birthday hat (check out my Instagram highlights).

#3 Did any of you catch the Overwatch Puppy rubble? OMG! Overwatch + puppies! Two of my favorite things! There was a puppy named Hamilton in a D.Va costume need I say more?

#4 I love this post on how to turn a bad day around (even if it's 8pm). I will be adding these ideas to my positive journal to reference.

#5 Here's a list of my favorite songs at the moment.
#6 I'm so sad that the 2018 Winter Olympics are over this weekend! I will be waking up early just so that I can watch the closing ceremony because for the Opening Ceremony NBC rushed it and missed some parts. Plus, EXO and CL will be performing and I can't miss that!

#7 If you haven't already go check out the only post I posted this week. By the way, I completely forgot to mention Sypro the Dragon and Crash Bandicoot! I knew I would forget some of my favorites!

Bonus: Check out Ellis's Tote Bag Kickstarter. Ellis is such a talented illustrator and her shop, Pastel Exlir, has such adorable pieces. I've decided to support her Kickstarter and wanted to get the word out there because she's so close to her goal! Even if you don't want a tote bag she has a bunch of other rewards available. Also, check Ellis's Blog and Youtube if you like weekly vlogs and all things artsy.

The Gamer Tag

The Gamer Tag

The Gamer Tag
Anybody who knows me well knows that gaming is a huge part of my life. I've been a gamer since I was younger and have played pretty much every popular console out there so I thought it would be fun to answer The Gamer Tag. This tag was so fun to complete and I couldn't help but feel nostalgic going back and reminiscing about old games and consoles. I'm sorry in advance if I sound like a huge video gamer nerd too passionate. hehe

1. What is your gamer tag?
Either Mooey or Moomrin.

2. PC or console?
100% Console! The only games I've ever played on PC is Sims and old GameBoy games.

3. Console of choice?
PlayStation just because the controller has barely changed throughout the years. I just love the PlayStation controllers!

4. Handheld of choice? (DS, PS Vita, etc.)
Nintendo DS XL.

5. Keyboard or gamepad?

6. Singleplayer or multiplayer?
Singleplayer because I can play by myself. I do enjoy multiplayer when I can play the story mode but competitive play becomes boring after a few matches, my opinion.

7. What was the first game you have ever played?
It was either Sonic or Super Mario game. I was too young to remember!

8. Hardest game you ever played?
Kirby + The Rainbow Curse! I bought this game back when we first bought the Nintendo Wii U and spent hours days (even looked up gameplays on Youtube) trying to figure out how to play this darn game! You are supposed to draw on the gamepad with the stylus of the Wii U but could never figure out how to play so I gave up and sold the game. The graphics are adorable and I love Kirby games but I just had no patience with this game. I couldn't even complete the tutorial!

9. What was your first gaming system?
PlayStation or some Nintendo console (maybe Nintendo 64?). I don't remember if we had a Nintendo console but I swear I have memories of me playing Super Mario on some Nintendo console, I remember those huge thick cartridges! Maybe it belonged to one of our cousins? We definitely had a PlayStation though (and still have it) but I'm not sure if we had both or one before the other.

10. What is your favorite game of all time?
I can't name just one so I named some that I can think of. Animal Crossing (I really love the original but also City Folk and New Leaf), Splatoon 1+2, Bravely Default, Kingdom Hearts 1+2, Kirby's Epic Yarn (amazing multiplayer game), Tekken, Cooking Mama, Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer, Overwatch, the Style Savvy series (if you like dress up games), Mario Kart, Poochy and Yoshi's Woolly World.

I will probably hate myself later for forgetting some of my favorites. lol

11. What game is currently your favorite?

12. Favorite video game genre?
Simulation. I love games that allow me to customize my character, house, town, etc. The more control I have the better! haha

13. Favorite video game character?
D.VA from Overwatch! Duh!

But honorable mentions to Lara Croft from Tomb Raider because she was the first badass female character I saw in a video game.

14. Which video game character do you hate the most?
This is tricky because I don't think I truly ever hated any character but if I have to pick. The Skull Kid from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. First off, LOZ characters don't talk they just make noises (I would've been terrified as a child if I played LOZ) so that's annoying plus why do I have to replay the same day over and over again just to defeat you? Plus, that moon is creepy af!

15. What new game are you most excited for?
Kingdom Hearts 3!!!

16. Favorite video game company/developer?

17. What gaming systems do you currently have?
PlayStation, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS XL, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo Wii U, and Nintendo Switch.

18. How long have you been gaming?
Since I was like 3 or 4 years old. I'm an OG gamer. haha jk

19. How long was your last gaming session?
My last? Yesterday I played Overwatch for 3-4 hours but that's nothing! When new games come I'm the type of person who wants to unlock everything asap!

20. What game have you clocked the most time on?
Probably Animal Crossing: New Leaf. I've spent so much time designing my town.

#1 All I've been watching since last Friday Thursday has been the Winter Olympics! There are two channels that I flip through on my television and when I want to watch an event live I watch it on the app. Figure skating is my favorite to watch but curling is entertaining too! haha

#2 Happy Lunar New Year! This year it's the year of the dog so Lucy is especially happy!

#3 This week MayDesigns featured one of my Instagram pictures in their newsletter which was really nice of them.

#4 On Valentine's Day my family gave me lots of chocolate and my younger sister even bought cupcakes! With that said I've been in a huge dessert coma since. I have a huge sweet tooth but I'm getting tired of all the sweets, never thought I would say that. lol

#5 I'm still obsessed with iKon's Return album. It came out earlier this year and it's still on loop!
My favorite songs are Love Scenario, One and Only, Hug Me, Don't Forget, and Long Time No See.  Some of these songs are on my side blog playlist so go give them a listen. Even if you aren't a fan of iKon and want to hear so new music.

#6 Lucy's birthday is next week! She's turning 4 (aka 20 in human years). I can't believe we've had her for almost 4 years it feels like longer, I can't imagine my life without her.

#7 This week I started using @FemaleBloggerRT and their hashtags to help spread the word of my blog. The only time I use hashtags is when I use Instagram but I should really start using them on Twitter more since it's my most used social media. If you guys know of any other Twitter accounts that support blogs let me know.

Skincare Trials ♥ Drugstore + Kbeauty Haul

Drugstore + Kbeauty Haul
It's been a while since I talked about beauty, hasn't it? I haven't lost my passion for makeup or skincare but it's just that my obsession with stationery has surpassed beauty, haha just kidding (kind of)! I'm also guilty of using the same products over and over again. But I promise to post more beauty posts in the future. Today, I wanted to share the latest additions that I've added to my skincare routine that I've been testing out. I have five products, some Kbeauty and some that you can find in the drugstore.

Drugstore + Kbeauty Haul
NYX Micellar Water Stripped Off
My younger sister recommended me this micellar water to use as a makeup remover. I don't have much of an opinion on this product yet because it's only been a week since I've started using this product.

E.L.F. Beauty Shield Vitamin C Pollution Prevention Serum
E.L.F. has been stepping up their game lately! Their latest skincare line caught my attention because of the holographic packaging but when I read that they had a vitamin c serum I was intrigued. What I love most about this serum (so far) is the dropper applicator. You press the top of the applicator and it dispenses the serum.

Drugstore + Kbeauty Haul
Mizon Hyaluronic Acid 76 Premium Hydrating Serum
I've been trying out more products from Mizon because I'm such a fan of their sheet masks. I went with this Hyaluronic Acid 76 Premium Hydrating Serum but after trying it for two days I'm not a fan. It doesn't absorb properly and feels like a tacky film is resting on my face. I actually stopped using this which is why I bought the E.L.F. vitamin c serum.

Mizon Snail Repair Eye Cream
The other Mizon product bought was an eye cream which I wasn't a fan of either. This eye cream just doesn't hydrate my eyes enough! It's more watery than creamy and when it comes to eye creams I prefer a creamy moisturizing one.

Banila Co Clean It Zero
A cult favorite! To be honest, I've never been interested in trying this product but I was looking for a new Kbeauty cleaning oil to try this Banila Co Cleansing Balm popped up and I thought, why not? There is a variety of Clean It Zero Balms to choose from but I went with the original because it's for those with normal skin which I have. I've only used it three times but my first impression of it is that it has the consistency of solid coconut oil but not oily.

K-pop + Nerdy Stationery Haul ♥ Hello Paper Cat

Stationery Haul
Guess who placed another order from Hello Paper Cat? Me, that's who! I love that Seriya has been adding more Kpop and Kdrama stationery goods to her shop and I heard that she'll be adding more soon which I can't wait to see! I also bought some nerdy stationery that includes StarWars, Overwatch, and Sailor Moon related items. Make sure to follow Seriya's Instagram for special releases, coupons, and sneak peeks.

Stationery Haul
Some of the new releases that I picked up were the Red Velvet, Porg, and Goblin sticker flakes. I also didn't know that Hello Paper Cat carried Overwatch stickers so I made sure to add those as well because as you guys know I'm currently obsessed with Overwatch.

Stationery Haul
Even though I probably don't need any more bookmarks I couldn't resist myself and bought three! The Baymax, Red Velvet Irene, and BTS V (my baby) magnetic bookmark. I'm so glad she added Red Velvet to her shop! I hear she will be releasing a GOT7 collection next and I'm pumped!

She also included a Sombra bookmark which is so sweet of her! I almost bought the D.Va bookmark but talked myself out of it last minute so it was sweet of her to include s Overwatch bookmark.

Stationery Haul
Aren't these Sailor Moon Bubble Bath stickers the cutest? I love how it comes with a bunch of beauty stickers too. I also picked up the Sailor Scout sticker sheet even though I bought the Sailor Scout sticker flakes last time but this sheet comes with Princess Serenity, Chibi, and Luna!

The Steven Universe sticker sheet came free when you bought over $10, which I obviously did. Another freebie that I received with my order was the Elodie die cut which you can't buy separately but you can find the same design in bookmark form here.

Stationery Haul
I also wanted to include these BT21 stickers and washi tape that I bought off of eBay because they're so cute and affordable! I know they aren't official BT21 merch but I don't think they have any BT21 stationery at the moment so these will have to do until they release stationery.

Coffee Chat #5

Coffee Chat
#1 Our house has become the official house for stray cats to visit. Over the weekend (late weekend) a white cat came into our garage! This is now the third cat that comes to our house (more than once). I know they're different cats too because all of them are different colors.

#2 Starbucks brought back my favorite ground coffee, the Kopelani blend! I'm going to stock up this time! If you have never tried it and love coffee I highly recommend it!

#3 Speaking of Starbucks, I hate to say this but I think I found a new love, Dunkin Donuts. I mean it's cheaper than Starbucks plus you can grab yourself a donut at the same time! I'm still not a fan of the coffee they use in their drink.

#4 This week I started working out again. I haven't workout properly since December because I was on my month long yoga journey in January because I wanted to give my body a detox to start out 2018. The next day after my workout session my body felt so tight and sore! You would think my body would be more relaxed after performing yoga for a month but no.

#5 When you attempt to buy new skincare products but just buy your favorites. haha

#6 The winter Olympics have officially started! For the next 2 weeks, I will be glued to my television screen because I love the Olympics! There is something so fascinating and inspiring about them. I woke up at 5 am yesterday just so I could watch the opening ceremony live and not miss anything. I'm glad I did too because I watched the coverage on NBC hours later and they rushed everything!

#7 Sorry for posting this week's Coffee Chat on Saturday instead of Friday but if you follow me on Twitter then you know the reason why. Make sure to check out my latest posts down below! Happy a wonderful weekend!

TWICE Valentine's Day Cards ♥ Crochet Pattern

Valentine's Day Card Crochet Pattern
Since crocheting the BT21 plushies I've been inspired to incorporate more Kpop because crochet and Kpop are two of my favorite things which is why I decided to make some Kpop lyric Valentine's Day cards. There are thousands of Kpop love songs so it was difficult to choose which group or song to pick but I decided on TWICE because they're cute and have the cutest catchiest songs at the moment. The TWICE songs I made cards for were Likey and Heart Shaker because who doesn't love cheesy puns on Valentine's Day?

I know the skin and hair colors don't exactly match but I just used what I had laying around because I have tons of felt sheets and didn't want to go out and buy more, #lazy. You could also add eyebrows if you want. I tried but they looked weird so I left them out. haha

Valentine's Day Card Crochet Pattern
- Light pink worsted yarn
- Pink worsted yarn
- H/4.25 mm crochet hook
- Various colors of felt
- No-sew glue
- Scissors
- Yarn needle
- Tape runner or double-sided tape
- 2-3 Blank notecards

Ch(s) - chain(es)
St(s) - stitch(es)
Slst - slip stitch
Sc - single crochet
(x2) - repeat __ amount of times

Valentine's Day Card Crochet Pattern
- ch 16 sts, sc 15 sts. Total = 15 sts
- ch 1, sc 15 sts (x23). Total = 15 sts
Cut off and weave yarn strands

To make the "lacey" or scallop detail. Insert hook to where you cast off your card. Slst, ch 5, skip 2 sts, repeat all the way around the card. Cut off and weave in ends.

Valentine's Day Card Crochet Pattern
Tape or glue 2-3 blank cards together and glue to the crocheted card, press and leave out to dry.

Choose your favorite TWICE member and reference a picture because it will help when cutting out the shapes in the felt. I choose Momo (my favorite member) for the Likey card and Tzuyu for the Heart Shaker card. After you've cut out all of the pieces line up everything and glue. Press lightly to secure and let dry.

Valentine's Day Card Crochet Pattern
After your cards are finished it's time to sign your Valentine's Day card. Feel free to use whatever pun you want, remember the cheesier the better! Here are some more TWICE lyrics you can use. "Come on be my love baby!", "Pit-A-Pat!", "Love is timing!", "Girl, you can do it!" (cute Galentine's Day idea) or simply use "Happy Valentine's Day".

Valentine's Day Card Crochet Pattern
Are you a fan of TWICE? Who is your favorite member?

January 2018 Favorites ♥ Beauty & Lifestyle

January Beauty & Lifestyle 2018 Favorites
I wasn't sure if I had any favorites to share for the month of January but then I started thinking and one by one I started adding more and more things to my list of favorites. It's funny how that a couple months ago I had a separate favorites post for beauty and lifestyle items and now I struggle to even select a few items to feature in a joint post. It's not that I'm not trying new products it's just that I haven't tried anything that has blown me away enough to share. Let me know what products you've been loving in the comments.

January Beauty & Lifestyle 2018 Favorites
Love Beauty and Planet Body Wash - Argan Oil + Lavender
My local Target started selling this new beauty line called Love Beauty and Planet. The line caught my eyes because of the beautiful packaging but after reading the bottle I learned that it's a vegan beauty brand! Their products are 100% vegan, cruelty-free, contains no dyes or parabens, come in recyclable packaging, organic, ethically scoured fragrances, and sustainably sourced, sounds amazing, right? I was in need of a new body wash so I bought the Argan Oil and Lavender scent. It's super fragrant and lathers well leaving your skin hydrated and smelling lovely. I'm really intrigued by this brand and will definitely check out more products from Lover Beauty and Planet in the future.

China Glaze Nail Lacquer - Kill 'Em With Kindness
I saw this nail polish at Sally's Beauty Supply on sale for than 50 cents so I quickly picked one up because A. It's from the My Little Pony x China Glaze collection,  B. It's a pastel color, and C. IT WAS 50 CENTS! The nail polish is a lovely pale yellow cream color that I can see myself wearing throughout Spring. I've been sporting this color since I've bought it and I'm obsessed with it!

Too Faced Clover Eye Shadow Palette
I received the Too Faced Clover Palette for Christmas so I've been playing with it as much as I can which isn't hard because it's the cutest palette ever! My most used shades are I Ruff You, Cuteness Overload, #SaveThemAll, and Wet Kisses.

January Beauty & Lifestyle 2018 Favorites
Field Roast Miniature Corn Dogs
A couple years ago Morning Star used to sell these delicious mini corn dogs that I would buy all the time but sadly they discontinued them for whatever reason. However, Field Roast recently came out with their own version of meatless miniature corn dogs and my love for mini corn dogs has returned! The only problem is that these cost double the price of the Morning Star ones and they come with less than 10 corn dogs so I won't be buying these often just when I want to #treatmyself.

La Colombe Draft Latte
Someone was raving about these canned coffees on Twitter so when I spotted them I picked one up and they're definitely yummy! These would be perfect on workdays when you're running late because you can quickly toss one into your bag. There are also more flavors but the original one is my favorite.

Weetabix Original
I follow a lot of European bloggers and vloggers and every now and then I would hear about Weetabix but had no clue what they were referring to so googled and it's cereal, well kind of. I checked on Amazon and two days later they were in my hands. So for those who are like me and have no clue what Weetabix are, they're basically these wholegrain "cereal-like" bars that you can pour milk or yogurt and use as a cereal or granola. Here in the states, we don't have anything similar to this product (at least none that I know of) so this concept fascinates me. I've been eating my Weetabix with a splash of almond milk, a little bit of maple syrup and fresh fruit (sometimes I add some dairy-free yogurt). How do you eat your Weetabix?

January Beauty & Lifestyle 2018 Favorites
Cute Cat Canvas Zip-Up Pen Pouch
This pouch has changed my life! I keep it open and unzipped on my desk supplied with my favorite writing utensils. Before this pouch, I kept my most used pens in a closed pencil case under my desk (the keyboard area) but displaying them out in the open is more accessible. If you're curious as to what I keep in this pen case check out this post.

Style Savvy: Styling Star
I'm a huge fan if the Style Savvy series I played Trendsetters, Fashion Forward, and now Styling Star. In the game, you run a small boutique and dress the citizens in your town for special occasions. It's such a cute game especially for those who adore fashion games. I've been glued to this game ever since I downloaded it but have yet to complete it but when I do you can expect a full review.

Coffee Chat #4

Coffee Chat
#1 First off I just want to say thank you to those who have shared the links to my Etsy shop or have bought somethings. It took a lot of courage for me to even reopen my shop so it means the world to me that you guys want to support me.

You guys can still use the code 'IAMBACK' to get 10% off your MooeyAndFriends purchase.

#2 Earlier this week Vicki reopened her shop and I was lucky enough to pick up some D.Va prints! I've been a fan of her art for a long time and have been waiting for her to reopen her shop because I want some of her prints. I will share them when they arrive.

#3 Lately I've been feeling like my photos aren't the best. Granted I've been taking pictures at different times so they would all look different but even with editing they just haven't been up to my standard. I had a blog post prepared for yesterday but decided against posting it because I hated the photos. I know we all go through these moments of not feeling like we are good enough and I've been here plenty of times before and know that this moment will pass eventually.

#4 I finished the TRUE - 30 Days of Yoga with Adriene. Every time I complete one of these 30-day yoga journeys I notice something different. This time around I got sore which is new for me because I've never gotten sore by doing yoga before. However, I personally love feeling that soreness for some reason because I feel like my body worked hard and is improving.

#5 I update my blog playlist with my favorite songs of the month. January was an amazing start to kick off the year! You can listen to the playlist, which you can find on the side of my blog.

#6 They are going to do the Lunar event for Overwatch this year again and I'm so excited! The D.Va skin with her wearing the hanbok is my favorite and I've been waiting for this event to come back just so that I get it. The year of the dog event starts February 8!

#7 What is up with all these platforms trying to bring down small businesses? Do these companies not remember when they were a small business and didn't have a huge following? Hopefully, a new platform will come out that supports the 'little people' because we sure do need one right about now!
