Ghost of Christmas Past ♥ My Favorite Blogmas Posts

My Favorite Blogmas Posts
I posted a Ghosts of Halloween Past back in October so since it's December I wanted to share my favorite posts from past Blogmas years. I participated in Blogmas from 2013 to 2018. I stopped because Blogmas became too stressful for me and also my "Christmas spirit" started to diminish. Back then, I also made a crafty series called '12 Days of DIY' where I would create 12 DIY projects for 12 days that you could use as gifts or decorations during the holiday season. Yup, that's 12 DIY posts along with holiday-themed posts. I'm very impressed with my past-self for doing so much back then.

A majority of these posts are DIY or crochet patterns but they're my favorite from past Blogmas years. Some of them would make cute holiday gifts for family, friends, or coworkers. If you want more gift ideas, check out this post.

I don't normally eat puppy chow but I think it's a fun treat to make during the holidays. This chocolate puppy chow was inspired by a bag of puppy chow my younger sister had made at school. If I were to make this again, I would add M&Ms to make it more colorful and not add the chocolate sauce. Fun fact: I don't really like chocolate. I need to have chocolate with something else, if not I won't eat it. Like chocolate with caramel or a biscuit for something.

The LSP "Lump" of Coal plush is a project that I'm really proud of! You can make these for a fellow Adventure Time fan as a fun stocking stuffer.

Starbucks red cups are a holiday staple to many Starbucks lovers. I was inspired by the red cups to create this Starbucks red cup coin bank. I don't use it as a coin bank but as a storage container.

Another Starbucks holiday gift idea is this Starbucks Snowman Cookie crochet pattern. It makes a cute dog toy, Lucy loved her cookie but she has since lost it! haha

I'm a huge fan of the Nintendo game, Splatoon. It's one of my favorite games! I crocheted the Splatoon Squids and then a few years later I made the Lil' Judd Pillow. Yes, I understand now that the Splatoon squids have 4 tentacles instead of 3, but I clearly remember 3 tentacles when I was creating the pattern. You can always just adjust the pattern and add an extra tentacle.

A delicious treat to make on a chilly December night is this hot cocoa mug cake. You can easily make this vegan-friendly by using non-dairy hot cocoa, non-dairy whipped cream, and vegan marshmallows.

One of the most popular crochet patterns is the travel neck pillow. It is written in my "personal format" so it might not make sense to some but if you leave a nice message I will help you. Still working on reformatting all my previous crochet patterns so please be patient.

This Elf felt plush was inspired by the infamous 'Elf On A Shelf', they've always creeped me out so I decided to make a cuter handmade version. I made this out of felt and even added wire so that you could bend its arms and legs! I went so extra with this DIY! haha

If you would like to make your own ornaments this year you can crochet these fast food ornaments. If you're more of a coffee person, I also made coffee shop ornaments. My younger sister's tree is a food-themed tree so she has these decorated on her tree.

I'm not the best cook but I always loved sharing my recipes on the blog. These tea bag sugar cookies were so fun to make. I think I might make them again this year.

I love crocheting characters that already exist because I always challenge myself to get all of the characters' details as exact as possible, I think I did pretty well with the Popplio plush and Mimikyu plush. These would make a cute Christmas gift to a Pokemon fan. I also have a Wooloo plush available in my shop.

Not a crafty blog post, but it's a fun tour of my Starbucks Gingerbread house. I love that Starbucks made this available for the holidays one year. I hope they decided to release a Starbucks gingerbread house again one day.

Every year, I place these Christmas countdown blocks in my room to remind me how many days are left until Christmas. Every morning, I wake up and flip the blocks to match the days left until Christmas.

One of my favorite garlands, I've ever made is this winter sock and mittens garland. I love how tiny the socks and mittens look, they make such a cute Christmas decoration.

This tea bag bookmark was such a cute crochet pattern that you can make as a gift or just for yourself! I love how it came out and it's suitable for beginners.

The first BT21 crochet pattern that I made back in 2017, was BT21 Van. After this, I made the rest of the BT21 characters. Check out all of my crochet patterns to view the rest of the BT21 patterns.

Another non-crafty Blogmas post. This Winter Mood/Dream board was one of my favorites! I actually love this setup so much that I might try to recreate it this year since I have yet to decorate my bulletin board for the season.

One of my last Blogmas DIYs I ever made were these Onigiri + Dango Pom Poms. You can turn these into ornaments and add them to your Christmas tree or make them as a gift.
